However - for some time I have been trying to track down a great piece of music from Midnight Cowboy, which was also used as the theme for early eighties BBC programme "Wildtrack". Now some people say that this piece was John Barry............some say Henry Mancini. It appears on no albums by either of them as far as I can make out.......can anyone shed anylight on who the composer is, and where I can find it? Your best bet for finding it would be to try and get hold of the score for the film, which is available online if you can't find it in a shop. Apart from 'Wildtrack', it was also used by the BBC as the theme for some of its radio cricket coverage of England on tour.
