Yes, good article!

A minor suggestion though: at the part where the surface temperature and spectral class are mentioned, it would be nice to go on with something like...

"What this means to the casual observer is that the red giant Betelgeuse has a striking amber color, visible with the naked eye."

Another interesting point about Betelgeuse is that its diameter is greater than that of Mars' orbit. What a monster!

How come this is my original version? I completely rewrote the text (virtually) for JimiX when he came to sub-edit it in October.
The newer version read much better than this rubbish!!!!

Anyway, thanks to whoever added the HHG quotes!
