  | | The reason for the odd facts in a paragraph at the end is because originally the article was as you can probably tell from previous comments "footnote hell"
The fact that the people supposedly playing instruments clearly had no idea how to play them has always been a tremendous irritation to me (especially as I am a bassist).
I did a lot of research for this article so I have lots of little bits a pieces I can add to it but I have to be careful not to go over the top as it could kill the voice of the article
I'll have a look if I can re-jig the article a little but I have to put a limit on how much I should do as it is clear it will never be an edited article!!!

  | | Don't give up - the system is such that a Scout will find your article in Peer Review (which is why it is here in the first place) and recommend it to the Editors for acceptance in the Guide. All this takes quite a while, and, as has been said, they will wait for the conversation to die down to give you time to perfect the article. The Scouts are limited in the number of entries they can recommend per month, and it is often just luck that gets one entry in sooner than another. Then the subeditors get them to work over .... but that's another story.
I like the tidbits at the end of the entry - lots of entries have them. They keep your attention right to the end. The only point I was making was that the year the film is made is a very important piece of information and warrants a mention in the opening lines. Better still, a short tabular summary of the main facts, such as is found in the film/movie sites would also be useful, without affecting the "voice" of the entry at all.
