Cycling in Auckland, the largest city, is an exercise in traffic avoidance skills, as all motorists tend to think that they will be awarded bonus points towards an overseas vacation if they manage to hit a preset number of cyclists.

Would you happen to know anything about a friend of mine named Evan? I think he may have been in New Zealand recently to see Dr. Salla. Does your cycle route pass near any docks or piers? He loves boating and is quite a good swimmer. I'd like to hear from him...Can you help me?

New Zealand has a land mass much bigger than many people realise. It is a bit larger than Britain and Ireland combined or to put it another way, a tad smaller than Colorado.

The population is just under four million. As about a quarter of these people live in Auckland, I don't hold out much hope of the previous correspondent happening across your friend anytime soon.

As Loony tunes pointed out, NZ is big, and with 750 000 people in Auckland alone, I'm far to busy avoiding busses to meet anyone, Sorry I can't help though

In Wellington this rule appears to only applies in certain 'burbs, mainly Kelburn and Karori, which unfortuntly I have to go through. But then again, I do plan save up for a medium sized tank and get my vengance on all those prats in 4 wheel drives smiley

I like the sense of safety driving a tank would give me, I also like the images of 4WD's as flat as pancakes, does anyone know a good second hand tank dealership?
