Posted May 29, 2000 by justus jonas   Posting 1 Adam Smith developed an important theorie. He didn't discovered the truth (what many people think), which is much more comlicated. Scotland and England were politically seperate but very much a cultural sounding board. Particulalry if you look at mid 16th c radical thinking which is what sets off the Enlightenment.
