Great entry. History made entertaining, I like that. I'm going on a school trip to Gibralter this spring, so this might prove very useful. Where did you learn all this?
Would the tauto-something error be to say "the rock of Gibraltar"? (I can't know, English ain't my mother's tongue (nor my father's. or any of my grannies') but I like to improve...)

tauto-somthing = tautological
What does that mean? And I love the way you use the very scientific custom of notes with numbers to write coool information like "Which they still do" instead of "as discussed in the thesis of yadayadayada..."
