An update on the Francis Ford Coppola movie version of "On the Road." Sadly, plans seemed to have terminated (although I'm hardly a Hollywood insider). Beat Archivist Levi Asher tried out for the film and includes a fantastic and witty description of it on his site, Literary Kicks (www.litkicks.com). Definitely worth checking out.

I see this thread has been dead for a long time.
Speculation as to a movie adaptation is re-starting on www.imdb.com
Maybe the project wasn't canned after all
