I also found it very odd that you would include a report from the "Subgenius Digest".  
"The reader may wish to evaluate the following report's credibility." indeed! 
I love the Subgenius... I AM a Subgenius! (Doktor Count Zero, at your service.)
But back to the story... I think my neighbors are a subclass of Ailurophiliacs... Just a more suburban type.
There probably will not be a stench and I seriously doubt they'll have catsicles in the fridge, though.
They keep their cats outside. They live in a mobile home across the street. They never get their cats fixed so there are always new litters sitting outside the house. How many survive the street and the loose running dogs in the neighborhood I couldn't quite say (I have had the unfortunate occasion to see two dogs run through the yard on a killing spree), but probably not a high percentage. They tend to have only around 10 cats at any one time. Knowing the rate that fertile cats can populate I'd have to say many are dying as kittens. (One breeding pair of feral cats will produce nearly 6,200 cats in seven years. This takes into account typical mortallity rates). Local ordinance limits pet ownership to 4 pets (I believe they only include dogs and cats, but I'm not sure). I myself am at my limit with two of each (all rescue adoptions). If the neighbors would simply have their remaining cats spayed and neutered I wouldn't mind so much.
(But now I know not to look in their freezer  !)

People really *are* twisted... I mean I love my Kitty but... sheesh!
And, like the other two who've replied, I had no idea what it was this post was about until I started reading it and was, although I found what was happening sick, hooked 'til the end of it, just to see how twisted people had gotten.
