  | | Being a bit of a lazy so-and-so (and grossly overweight... I wonder if there's a connection), it was always tomorrow, or next month, or in the new year.
Then I found the switch that said 'I *really* want to do something about my health', and flicked it. Unfortunately, the only way I found that switch was because it was located next to the big ol' flashing light marked 'Occasional gripping chest pains'.
Thankfully that seems to have been indigestion, but for a short while I was really scared.
It's early days (like less than a month), but my outlook has completely changed. I *really* want to do something about this. Something seems to be egging me on. Some of the best advice I've seen comes from 'Fitness for Dummies' which I found at my local library. There's a chapter '100 reasons to get fit': not just health, but the social aspects and your *mental* wellbeing.
Personally, I like the thought of all the gadgets I'm gonna get to buy and play with.
So, if you've got here and are thinking 'I might do something', don't 'might'... DO! Don't wait until you *have* to, do it because you *want* to.
But do it sensibly.
