Subject: Sinclair or Texas first in the UK

As a postscript I *think* the SInclair Black watch marginally pipped texas in the UK as the 1st LED watch - I asked for one for xmas, but with Sinclairs normal manufacturing and distribution problems I ended up with (and still have got) a Texas one.

still not sure if it was, but it was worth a mention - I did a web search after posting and found out how crap the Sinclair was, 10,000s returned, kits that were impossible to make and batteries that were difficult to change and lasted 10 days. So I think it is fair, regardless of who was first to give credit for Texas, as mine is still working fine 25 years on!
