The Swedish foreign minister Anna Lindh was stabbed in a supermarket by an unknown attacker, she went was operated for 13 hours but finally died on September 11th and 05:29 am. This is the second political assassination in Swedish history, Anna Lindh was very popular in the EU parliament and with the Swedish people. The country is in shock, nothing like this has ever happened before.

Yes, I am in shock. She was a great politician. It's rather rare when you can listen to an elected person and think, "I agree with most things this person says."
She was considered the next prime minister of Sweden. I would have liked to see that.

I hope this will not distance Swedish politicians from us. I hope they'll still be available, that they'll still be able to go shopping without bodyguards.

It is such a shame.

Sure is. She was one of the few uncorrupted politicians who was still in touch with the people.
