Subject: Natto

I lived in Japan for a few years in the late 60's. I developed a taste for natto (although it was a source of some surprise to my friends). I think the harsh description is a little un-called for. I agree that it is certainly not for everyone but, served with spicy mustard and chopped green onions on very hot rice, it is a palette worth cultivating.

I quite agree! I love the stuff too. A lot of people DO hate the stuff, but it IS worth cultiviting a taste for it. You can easily get it in London as well! smiley

Recently, scientists have discovered a new vitamin called PQQ of the B family and Natto has been found to have the highest level of it.
