I'm writing an entry on Wikipedia's nemesis: Uncyclopedia! I'd like to see it get into the Edited Guide someday once it's reached a level of informativeness and coolness that I'm satisfied with. It's still a work in progress, but anyways have a look and tell me what you think: A5832010

And by the way, will you please add a link to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/h2g2 to the article?

Why would I add a link to that article? This entry is about Wikipedia, not about h2g2!

I'll have a look at your entry on Uncylcopedia.

Your entry is good. I'd say it should have no great problems going through Peer Review and into the Edited Guide. Before submitting it, you might like to tidy up your GuideML:

Don't use
except when you absolutely have to go onto a new line without putting in a blank line. For example, in poetry you have to do this:

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills

For all other uses, use a
at the start of the paragraph and a
at the end. Don't ever use
. This applies even to single lines such as

All Uncyclopedia articles must:

Don't use bold text. Put things in italics instead.

Change any "double quotes" to 'single quotes'.

OK, I'll work on that.

Reasons you should add Wikipedia's entry on h2g2 with h2g2's entry on Wikipedia:

* I should think it would be obvious.
* Some Wikipedian has been nice enough to link to your article from there, which is how I originally found it.
* It's an excellent example of what a Wikipedia article is like.
* It's a wikipedia topic that h2g2 readers are likely to know about and can judge wikipedia on accurately.
* There's an ongoing effort among some users on different encyclopedia sites to link online encyclopedias entries on each other to each other.

sorry about the typos in the above post, but you should be able to get the idea anyways

I have now gone and fixed the Uncyclopedia entry as you suggested. I think perhaps it should have a little more information before I submit it .... though it's difficult to sort out the relevent material from the irrelevent material.
