Subject: I was switched off and lived!

I don't know the eact details cause my mum won't tell me and says it has nothing to do with me?!...

When I was very young I had very bad asthma, I was put on a ventilator. Eventually when I didn't get any better my parents decided to switch me off, there was a chance I would die or a chance it would prompt my lungs to work again.

I don't know if this comes under euthanasia strictly, but I think it does.

Difficult subject, I think we should have the right to live and die as we choose, however it is difficult making sure you are in a sane frame of mind. But in a case where you are terminal and just going to be in more and more pain and more and more scared, then that should be obvious.
