my choice of those up for removal would be all the record executives, media owners and marketing men who force the likes of saccharin sweet gareth gates and will "couldn't murder a decent tune more if he tried" young onto those of us who have just a modicum of musical taste. and dont start me on the capitalist exploitation of the nations youth.....

Hey, I'm 11 and I happen to like Classical (shock, horror) music. So, I feel it may be that some of the nations youth actually enjoy This dreadful cacophony they call "Pop Music". I know it's confusing, but just DON'T PANIC and everything will be fine.

im not saying that there is anything wrong with young people liking this kind of music, i just think that big business and profit margins are dictating what we listen to. TV programmes like popstars focus on individuals of undoubted talent, however there are many many other young talented musicians out there who dont conform to the pop genre and are therefore completely over-looked
