Jesus Christ.
Whilst I may not be him, I must exhale deeply muttering his name right now. I may only be at the tender age of 16, but even i have accumulated the wisdom to realise that where i'm going right now is exactly the opposite of where i thought i'd be going about 5 years ago. Hell, 5 years ago, i didn't care where i went in life and right now i don't really. But where i am going, that is into the field of Archeology, is exactly the kinda thing that if you told be 5 years ago i would have laughed and given you a smack for suggesting.

In hindsight, i was a bit of a b*st*rd really

Same here. My biggest goal when I was 9 or 10 was to write books for a living. I have since realized how utterly improbably this is (and how short my attention span is!), and now my career goal is to write and direct movies.

ooo, squirrels. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE *goes insane*

So are you saying that writing and directing movies is easier or more atuned to your short attention span?

Hey is that an eagle? Wow, look at the moon.

But seriously, I would think movies have to require a lot of attention, especially to details, or you end up with cars driving though your western.

Nice squirrels.....

No, just that I'm not very good at long, solitary hours. I'm better when working with people, or on collaborative projects . . . hence writing and directing movies, where I would be able to get input from and consult with lots of different people.

My attention span is quite normal when I can interact with other people. And yes, the squirrels are quite nice.
