My first real job after leaving college was as a photographer for Butlins in Pwllheli. (Sept 1994-Nov 1995) This was just a couple of years before the site was sold off to Haven and before they demolished all the old chalet lines and replaced them with static caravans.

I had the time of my life, I knew a nummber of guests who would come back a number of times in a season because they enjoyed it that much. So what if the beer was a bit on the pricey side - the regulars knew that there was a cheap supermarket down the road and they would do whatever they could to smuggle supplies into the bars!

I am planning on writing up an entry based on my time there which will follow in the not too distant future.
