Personally, I recommend Park City, UT for its wonderful powder, long and varied runs, *excellent* price, family atmosphere, and lovely hotel.

Being a bit biased, I'd have to say that you forgot a rather important ski resort, numerically speaking. Alyeska Ski Resort is in the far southeast corner of the municipality of Anchorage in a suburb called Girdwood. It boasts a mile-long run, some of the most challenging faces on the planet, and good prices. It also has the world's lowest elevation of any ski resort - 250 feet above sea level at the foot of the bunny slope. As well, it has the second longest open chair lift (or simply chair lift, I can't remember offhand) in the world - over 3,000 vertical feet, not including the slope of the mountain. It's one of the few places on earth where you can get off the chair lift, ski to the bottom, and see the ocean most of the way down. It's quite a sight to see. As well, they've got a day lodge, the Sitzmark Bar and Grill, the 7 Glacier Resteraunt (the only 5 star restaurant in Alaska), and five other restaraunts within the state's only 4 star hotel (though reasonably priced!).

So you should certainly keep it in mind. Did I mention the usual white-out conditions and abundance of fresh snow from November until May?????
