Editorial

For those who inquired and offered solutions after last week's editorial, here is a quick update on the cat problem.

After a couple of days of continued bullying by Katy, a bemused Quark found his feet again and started acting more like the clumsy feline he used to be. As soon as he settled down into his old routine of eating, sleeping and having the occasional 'mad five minutes', Katy also visibly relaxed. Coupling this with the fact that our house was suddenly invaded by all sorts of strange bods (see later), first a truce was called, then a more friendly acknowledgment of each others existance and, finally - united by the common enemy of 'strangers in our territory' - complete ease and friendship followed. As I type they are both curled up together and looking as if the mini war had never happened!

Those 'strange bods' I mentioned above were, in case you didn't realise, all the h2g2ers who arrived for a weekend of fun and frivolity also known as the Second h2g2 Dutch Meet. I think it is safe to say that a great time was had by all and The Post hopes to bring you pictures and a full report next week, including what all those flavoured sheep are up to! As a taster, however, this week we feature an item from Mina on her experience at two unusal museums.

Also worth noting is the start of another interactive venture by Greebo. Read all about it in the Masterbrain article.

Wowbagger met Loonytunes and F-Reek at the Brisbane Meet and manages to convey this prestigeous occasion through his h2g2 Life cartoon.

Look out for a fun competition which will be launched in the next Post edition... we think that you will enjoy it and the effort could be well worth your while!

Any copy, articles, suggestions should be sent to The Editor. Please use this same address if you are interested in volunteering to become a regular contributor. If you are unsure what The Post is looking for, why not check out the Writing For The Post page.
