ABOUT THIS RESEARCHER

Created: 3rd November 1999
I am a Muse
I am teacher, student, mother and friend. I am typical of many you meet along life's way and pause to speak with. There is nothing overly special about me, except that there are none other quite like me.

You will know me only by my whispers in your ear, there are no shortcuts.

JOURNAL
Who's side is he on?
Nov 12, 1999

I'm fairly sure that my attorney, or leastwise his secretary, has a hidden agenda in the business he's handling for me. Why else would I find out that correspondence has been sent to my husband that effectively forces my hand in speeding up proceedings? Maybe in my next life I'll be an attorney, oh, and a doctor....and maybe a plumber, so I can handle my life without interference from others.

Upon waking
Nov 4, 1999

That moment of waking when your thoughts scurry to resolve the dream that has been rudely interrupted by your alarm or you painfully try not to straighten your screaming spine is notorious for setting the mood for the day.
This morning, long before my alarm dared interfere, I was jolted from the peaceful dreamless state I've managed to develop by a single whispered thought "abandoned". What a joyous sunrise followed, me standing in the cool air, my dog prancing in the wet grass, while I blinked back tears and tried to shake the emptiness. Even though I prolonged the customary morning hug with my daughter, there has been little respite from that nagging first thought.
At some point, this will pass, as it has before, but it would be much simpler if the first thought of the day could be chosen by desired content and not carelessly plucked from my locked box of secret fears.
