My friend Alice, a PHENOMENAL poet I met at college, recited this to our class in early December, 2004. It brought tears to my eyes, though I didn't cry: she had prefaced the poem with "No crying at school." She explained that someone she had known had passed away, and his family wanted a poem to read at the service... she shared with them this one.
As for Mary Oliver, she is the author of "The Poetry Handbook", which I am now reading. There is much more to learn about her, a living poet... BLESS.

If you just want a random poem, try the good old random poem section of emule.com's Poetry Archives. You'll find our friends Poe, Blake, Frost and others on their Top Poems page. There are also surveys, discussion forums...
OOooo... this is handy!!! Language Tools at iTools. Several different dictionaries, thesauruses (search for homonyms, rhymes, etc!!!), MAP TOOLS, currency conversion-doohickies, and even crossword puzzle solver and a word unscrambler are here!

Now one of them has asked their followers to change their location to Iran and set their time to GMT+3:40. And also to RT(retweet) all of their tweets. I began playing World of Warcraft in December for school. I was in a fabulous English education class, where we studied graphic novels (comic books), film and video/computer games and Web 2.0 as learning tools for students. My final was a presentation about my experience with the online role-playing game.
I really love playing and as I have made friends, and stuck to a lot of the slang I picked up during my hootoo/nearly moving to London days, I have thought back to this site and the friendships I have made here.
As always, I hope everyone is doing well.
I also wanted to put out there that I play for the horde on the Muradin server. So if you happen to play on the same server for the horde, let's please add each other as friends. If you haven't begun to play but want to, and need someone to guide you, I would be pleased to do my best.

.... and school and everything else in life is going beautifully. My first semester wasn't idyllic (who's is?) and this one has shown me I have more friends than I had realized before. I'm also getting pretty busy with poetry -- participating in readings and helping a local organization judge a poetry contest.
Great Zeus, things are groovy. YAY!!!
(Oh and I will be working on a project for a class this semester that ties into World of Warcraft and women/girls who play it. If you are drawn to being interviewed or know a good lead -- article or individual -- I am grateful.)

I've never really cared for Harry, but I am a huge fan of the books.
I've read up to chapter 32 of the book and I have been loving every page. Rowling really evolves her characters and even the whole world Harry knows and ... it's wonderful and I can't wait to finish it.
She introduces new faces that have been there all along, or ... certainly are meant to ...
I am of course hoping for a lot of Harry Potter hits. Please Digg if you have a Digg account -- search for "Harry Potter never fluffed my cloak" and you will find it.
