All about me |
 |
 |
I am one of the many, many Australians descending upon London on a working holiday. The handy part for me is that I have an Italian passport to complement my Australian one, which means I am allowed to stay in the United Kingdom for longer than would otherwise have been the case.
I am 26 years old and from Brisbane, though I was born in Townsville, in north Queensland. This means that when I arrived in London in March I felt the northern wind go straight through me! And if that is how I felt in March, I can only imagine how I will be travelling come January.
Perhaps that will be the solution: travelling. My girlfriend and I are really keen to get out and see heaps of Europe while we are here, but we also plan to roam around the UK a lot as well. It's a relief to be able to take some time to enjoy it all, rather than try to cram in dozens of cities into a four-week holiday from Australia.
My main interest is history, particularly ancient history. I love to read and am quietly trying to work my way through the mini-library I've amassed even since arriving here. I studied international relations at university and enjoy following all that sort of stuff too.
Thanks for having me. |
