Dozing and Dumping 11 Hours Ago
That's pretty much been my whole day, apart from an extremely brief visit from Aiden. I just eat, nap and then sit on the toilet, over and over, all day.
The nastiest antibiotics run out tomorrow, so at least that's something to look forward to.
I watched "Lie to Me", "Kyle XY", "TV Burp", "Knight Rider", "Have I Got a Bit More News for You", "The Thick of It" and "Defying Gravity". (The latter is still dreadful beyond description... It makes "Knight Rider" look plausible and realistic... )
On the downloads front, things are looking bad. "Little Mosque on the Prairie" and "Criminal Minds" won't download because they want "authentication" from a tracker that won't let me register. So that's two of my favourite shows that I won't be seeing for a while.

Bob, Bob, Bobbing along Yesterday
I was still feeling rough, but a bright point in the day was a visit from Bob, as that gave me the excuse I had been looking for to open my bottle of 12yo Single Malt.
He dropped off a new copy of "NCIS: LA", played with my new Netbook and left with a bag of ground , a packet of biscuits and a seriously raised blood alcohol level.
I watched "NCIS: LA" and gave up on "Species IV". I'm listening to "Bruce Dickinson's Friday Rock Show" on 6Music instead - Tommy Vance he ain't, but then nowadays nobody is.

"Bowel stuff" 2 Days Ago
...to quote the advertisement. The second week on these antibiotics has really messed with my digestion.
Not much else to report, really. When I'm not sitting on the toilet I'm huddled under a quilt in the living room, mostly. I suspect it's my failure to properly digest my food that's leading to my inability to generate enough body heat. I'm wearing two fleeces, and I still catch myself shivering.
I watched "Dexter", "NCIS", "House", "Naked News", "QI" and "Misfits". I'm about to watch "NCIS: LA" and then head for bed. "Little Mosque on the Prairie" has made absolutely no download progress.
Bob says he's coming round for a visit tomorrow lunch time.

Hibernation, continued 3 Days Ago
I got up, took antibiotics, had breakfast and then huddled down in the armchair under a quilt where I fell asleep for over two hours. Then I got up, ate lunch, surfed the web for an hour, took antibiotics and... crawled back under the quilt and fell asleep for another hour. I got up (again), had supper, took antibiotics, surfed a while, listened to "The Archers", took different antibiotics, crawled under the quilt and slept for another hour-and-a-half.
After that, I watched "CSI: Miami" and "Never Mind the Buzzcocks". My download backlog is building up - I'm *still* downloading "Dexter", along with "House", "NCIS", "NCIS: LA" and "Little Mosque on the Prairie".
I got in touch with Bisset, to see if I could arrange some more box-shifting sessions. I've accepted that my state of health is deteriorating, and I'll probably never finish any of my more ambitious projects or do any serious computer repair in the future. Anything I *do* decide to do would benefit from me having the space to move around, and I'm not really feeling up to doing a massive eBay offering, so much of my "spares stock" is on the way out. Bisset says he'll get back to me on Monday after he knows next week's shifts.

More antibiotics. 4 Days Ago
It seems I have acquired some new "pets"... A colony of staphylococcus bacteria are nesting in my left foot.
In order to evict them I have to undergo another week of two different high-strength antibiotics taken at awkward times through the day.
Other than that, my foot looks like it's on the mend. I have another review in a week.
I watched "Saving Grace", "Ugly Betty", "Samantha Who?", "Film 09" and "The Graham Norton Show". I'm *still* downloading "Dexter". I recorded the first episode of "Paradox" to watch tomorrow.
