Death's Domain Apr 28, 1999
As of 28th April I am completing a review of the soon to be released "Death's Domain" Discworld Mapp, for inclusion in the Guild of Fans and Disciples Ramtop to Rimfall Newsletter. The Mapp comes out during May...and I know I'm spelling Map with two p's, cos that is how it is spelt in "Discworld olde English!" :o) An extract from my review, which begins with a description of the Mapp is: "The latest in the line of Discworld maps, Death’s Domain is by far the most impressive to look at on the shop shelf! It has ornate Silver lettering, outlined in a 'ghostly' blue, an excellent Paul Kidby illustration of Death holding a suitably styled picture frame of his home (Mon Repos as it says on the frame) and stylishly mottled black background which upon closer look can be seen as black clouds…and I mean black…Death’s Black. But that is not all, oh no, not by a long shot. If this was not enough to tempt you to buy, humour has been attempted on the rear cover!!! A few choice quotes for you to ponder over:  The House that Death built…and the garden too.  Death’s Domain…it’s no more than a breath away…  Here is the place where the Grim Reaper can kick back and take the load off his scythe.  You will find out…for the first time…why Death can’t stand rockeries, and what happens to garden gnomes.
So if that’s not enough to tempt you to buy the darn thing, I’ll get on with doing what I’m not paid for…reviewing the latest Discworld release!"
And that is what I am doing as of today...along with looking for a job (after just recently being a student, and graduating in Business Information Management in February). So take care everyone who may read this, I will post the full review of the discworld Mapp on here sometime soon, along with any othjer reviews I may do...Discworldly or Musical...take care all, Osman.
