I am 27 years old and that is just over a quarter century of seeing life go by. It has been quite interesting so far; starting in Zimbabwe back when it was still called Rhodesia, experiencing war and drought at a very early age, living in South Africa during Apartheid (but being on the right side of it as a white boy), moving to the UK and seeing snow for the first time, getting a first class british education and going to university - I have been undeservedly privileged.
I am even more privileged to be happily married and living in a beautiful city in the North of England called Durham with my wife and two pet rabbits. After trying my hand in full time Christian work, the catering trade, freelance writing, Refugee and Asylum Support, and gardening, I am now training as a Psychiatric Nurse and due to qualify in September 2005. I hope to be contributing to h2g2 from a broad range of my hobbies and interests including:
- Permaculture and Ecology
- Folk Medicine
- Christianity
- Banjo Music
- Anthropology
- Africa
- Refugee Rights
- Dietary Health
- Mental Health
- Primate Behaviour and Ecology
- Keeping Rabbits
