Back!!!

Been back a week now, thought I'd jot my thoughts down on this handy site.
I'm not convinced skiing is my sport, really, although I had a great time out there with my friends. I had too much trouble trying to get up after I fell over, which is a symptom of my lack of fitness more than anything else. I was starting to enjoy it by the end of the week, though, so maybe there's hope. I have to say that golf sounds more my sort of sport though. Whenever I think of it, though, Mark Twain's line about it being a good walk spoiled comes to mind...
In other news, I'm seeing a sparky Welsh girl called Michelle, who is really nice. And very Welsh. I'm quite looking forward to the Wales/England Rugby 6 Nations game, where I am confident we will bury them. Might even be able to see the game live at Twickenham!

Sheesh, really should do this more often.
Off skiing tomorrow 30/1/04 to lovely Val d'isere, with friends.
Should be great. I havn't skiied before so it's a learning experience!
Back in a week and a bit.

Whew. First full day as a Guide researcher.
Enjoyed it so far, waiting for conversations to move along....
