ABOUT THIS RESEARCHER

Created: 25th April 2003
Who Knew?
Greetings to all fellow guiders.

I am a 26 year old chap from Surrey, working in the Telecoms industry. I went to school in Woking, and University in Manchester, where I did History. Anyone who wants to know about Manchester in the 1830's, here I am.

My interests and subjects I know anything about include: Music (I play guitar & listen to all sorts of music from Britpop to alt-country via jazz), films (of all sorts except french art house), games consoles/home computers (from the ZX Spectrum to the PS2) and travel books.

Hope that helps.

JOURNAL
Back!!!
Feb 16, 2004

Been back a week now, thought I'd jot my thoughts down on this handy site.

I'm not convinced skiing is my sport, really, although I had a great time out there with my friends. I had too much trouble trying to get up after I fell over, which is a symptom of my lack of fitness more than anything else. I was starting to enjoy it by the end of the week, though, so maybe there's hope. I have to say that golf sounds more my sort of sport though. Whenever I think of it, though, Mark Twain's line about it being a good walk spoiled comes to mind...

In other news, I'm seeing a sparky Welsh girl called Michelle, who is really nice. And very Welsh. I'm quite looking forward to the Wales/England Rugby 6 Nations game, where I am confident we will bury them. Might even be able to see the game live at Twickenham! smiley

Stay froody.
