Today's Run: 3mi Museum/Riverside Park Loop (22mi)
I got an iPod in the mail the other day, and now I have a fantastic thing to listen to while I run. It makes it a lot less lonely. In othe news, I started running again after winter break's 'off season.'
Yesterday's Run: 1 mi Chisolm Trail W/ Angie (19mi)
Feels pretty good to run again after a week or so. Angie and I went, had a couple watery mochas in clear rootbeer mugs, and talked about graphic design, life, the universe, and everything. Terrible run-on sentance.

Today's run: 4mi campus loop x2 (18 mi)
Crazy. The weather today feels like fall, but it's the twentieth of Jan.
I love running outdoors.

Today's run: 2mi Campus loop (14Mi)
It feels like years since I've run outside. It was beautiful. I got mud all over my new shoes, and that makes me grin.
My Monday-Wendesday_friday schedule looks to be as easy as my Tuesday-Thursday schedule. I have Anthropology and then English 232. Mallory is in my Anthropology class, so that should be cool. There are not enough of us crazy people around.
My English 232 is a 'Themes of American Literature' class, based on the beat writers. I don't really typify the beat lifestyle, nor do I like their poetry or experimetal use of language and writing, but I still love their utter freedom. Some may say it's manufactured or trite, but I enjoy it.
I am at work, and I am very bored.

Today's Run: 3mi - Heskett (2 in 16:40) (12mi)
Well the semester started even though I didn't want it to. I enjoyed classes today. It seems like my Tues. Thurs. class schedule is obtuse at best.
I start the school day at 2:30pm, which gives me all day long to accomplish all sorts of crazy stuff. I'm hoping to be very productive with that morning time. I start with Honors Listening to Jazz. Pretty much the sweetest class ever. We listen to jazz, learn the forms and meter of various styles and extrapolate on the meanings of these great artists' work. Crazy.
I have a 2 hour break until my next class, which is perfect for catching an afternoon run on campus. The plan is to get back into the running shape I was in Junior Year of high school. It will be nutty. I have a few more schemes hatching and brewing but the magic will wear off if I tell you.
After a run, I go to Writing for The Mass Audience. Now that I'm taking classes in my major track, I'm finding them very intruiging and stimulating. I am such an art nerd. But learning how to write to hold the average reader's attention flips my switches.
The night culminates in prosuction for the Sunflower, which keeps me busy and a half. Then sleep. If I'm not too busy.

The Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #2 (Laïka) Jan 18, 2005
yesterday's run: 2mi with my sis.
I got a free pair of shoes when my parents took me shopping. That was rad, since my old shoes were kinda worn out. Now I'm excited to break in my new shoes and go running, which my sister and I promptly did that afternoon.
The Spring Semester starts today, and I'm not quite ready for school to begin. I think I'm in denial. But at least I have my comic for Wed. done.
That's right- it's done.
I will post it online tonight after classes are through.
Today I have Honors listening to Jazz, which should be great, and that is followed by Writing for the Mass Audience. Both are somewhat interesting to me.
