ABOUT THIS RESEARCHER

Created: 17th October 2002
Welcome to the Personal Space of Jack Winterbourne: The Amazing Meeting, London... It was so muff-a-fluffing rock!.

This is the Personal Space of Jack Winterbourne: The Amazing Meeting, London... It was so muff-a-fluffing rock!. Unfortunately Jack Winterbourne: The Amazing Meeting, London... It was so muff-a-fluffing rock! doesn't seem to have found the time to write anything by way of an introduction yet, but hopefully that will soon change.

By the way, if you've become a member but haven't yet written an Introduction to your Personal Space, then this is what your Space looks like to visitors (and, in the same way that you can't leave a message here for this Researcher, others won't be able to leave messages for you on your Space). You can change this by clicking on the 'My Space' button, going to your Space, clicking on the 'Edit Page' button, and entering your own Introduction - it's highly recommended!

Makes me tingle.

Some time ago, around the beginning of 2008, I may have mentioned I was thinking of starting a Skeptics in the Pub Brighton. But, didn't get beyond thinking about before dropping the idea and forgetting about it.

Recently a friend that I would have gone to with my fiendish sceptical conspiracy had the same idea. Which I have encouraged. At TAM London -- which was AMAZING -- we decided we were definitely going to explore the idea further.
So far we've met with local humanists, and been in touch with a fellow Sproutlorian who it turns out was involved in running SitP London at one point, the founder of SitP Leicester and even James Randi.
There will soon be gathering of conspirators in a Brighton pub for further plotting.

Last week I had the chance to have a 10 minute chat with Robin Ince. Lovely guy, he had to take to the stage before I raised the possibility of having him as guest to launch SitP Brighton. Sadly I didn't get to talk with him after his performance, as I was tired and inebriated and had to leave quickly, plus it felt inappropriate to break into his more private time post show, so to speak. which was very entertaining.
Next week I'll be going to see Tim Minchin (again) I don't expect to have the same beer, fag and chat time with him. Though it could happen...
