This is the page to head the home of researcher: 197053 or Wotchit. He has temporarily gone fishing, but will be back with the dolphins any millenia now.
So long, and thanks for all the Fish

I am the Keeper of White Noise. From now on you know who to blame when your radio reception's bad.

I'm a member of the Classic Goo Fan Club!
(I think you get the idea now)

Musicians Guild Member
I'm a MuG, a member of the h2g2 Musicians Guild. The Musicians Guild is a virtual club for musicians, singers, composers, and other music aficionados at h2g2.

I play the cello and like Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Bob Marley (and others I can't think of right now). My favourite composers are probably Bach and Shostakovitch.

Seeing as I can play the cello, I am now an official member of the h2g2 Symphony Orchestra!

Community Art

I have been a Community Artist artist since the 11th October 2002. And very proud of it.

You can find a galleries of all the Community Artists' work at the Community Artists' user page: U204560

h2g2 has just launched its new Community Art Requests Scheme so if you have an active club on h2g2, which you think deserves its own logo and badges head across there and - after reading the bunf of course - apply!

I am the h2g2 Post's Artistic Technical Director (doesn't that sound fancy) and I have just closed a series of cartoons in the Post. Check out Underneath the Surface at the h2g2 Post.

Down Under!
Jul 31, 2004

I've just arrived in Sydney airport en route to Auckland, so that's the most gruelling leg of the journey over. Found a free internet point, which is a fantastic innovation. It's 6.20 in the morning here, but the jet lag seems all right.

You just want to stop and look around, but I've still got another flight. Can't wait to tell the truth.

run

My local run is taking place on October 4th again this year. So as usual I've been dragging out my running shoes and preparing for the last year I'm eligible for the 5,000m race. So far the training's been going pretty well with a 5k run on Sunday in 20:02, which is about tandard for me. My personal best being 19:00, but that was in a race, which means a nice lot of adrenaline helping you along.

Exams!
Jun 17, 2003

yikes

I had my first end of year exam on monday. Luckily it was English, on Catcher in the Rye, that wasn't too hard. I had Maths today and though it was long it wasn't too difficult either. But tomorrow I have German and Biology exams, which are another matter. They're probably the most difficult. After that there's only Physics, Chemistry and Dutch, which shouldn't be too difficult. I'm just hoping I'll be OK tomorrow.

Barcelona
Apr 23, 2003

I'm back from my trip to Barcelona so here's a list of the things I reccomend other people to go and see.

- Piccaso Museum, this has a huge collection of his works from when he was just 8.

- Miro Museum, a museum with lots of interesting paintings and it also contains various temporary exhibitions.

- Park Guël, a park with lots of things designed by the architect Gaudi.

- Sagrada Familia, this is an unfinished cathedral also designed by Gaudi. It has extremely interesting architecture and stone work.

- Casa Batló and La Pedrera, these are two Gaudi designed houses on the main street in Barcelona - Las Ramblas.

- The Maritime Museum, this large museum is built in Barcelonas ship yards and tracks the history of fishing and sailing through to the modern day.

Of course another of the wonderful things about Barcelona is just to walk around it. You'll find interesting bits of architecture scattered everywhere.
