Whitewater Kayaking

Kayaking on the whole involves encasing ones lower body in plastic or fibre reinforced plastic, then launching oneself off a rock and down a rather fast flowing streach of river that even the most extreme Salmon would have second thourghts about.



Kayaking

This passtime is often undertaken by stupid/brave individuals and old people.

Where it Can Be Done

Artificial concrete thingamys like the Tees Bararge, The Nene WWC, and the Infamous Holme Peirpoint in Nottingham

You know whenyou make fingers pop.. shoulders can do it too... like mine did last thursday in the muncher hole at Peirpoint.

Luckily it didn't completely dislocate, and I now just have to try not to lift the arm above nipple height for fear of pain.

Mental note, next time you feel pain in shoulder, let go of the bloomin paddle.
