My name is Chuck Kuhman and I live in Northern Virginia, USA. I have been a Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy fan for a long time so I was attracted to this site as soon as I found it. So far I recommend the home page that gives the top five articles of the day. It's been amazing the range of interests the H2G2 community exhibits on any given day and every day I have learned something. (Now if I can just figure out a way to use all my new-found knowledge of harps and English national parklands, I am set.)
My interests include reading, games and puzzles of all kinds, baseball, square dancing, collecting bar and pub mirrors, getting my son to move out of the house, and getting my twin daughters through college without having to beg for money in the streets. The last two seem to be remote possibilities at this time.
I am currently playing Wizardry 8 on my computer almost all the time, and trying to re-read the Warden Diamond series of science fiction novels when I can't stand to look at the screen anymore.
By the way, anyone who is a fan of Douglas Adams and the Hitchiker books should try and read stories by a gentleman named Spider Robinson, especially his Callahan Crosstime Saloon tales. The humor is definitely not British, but is very enjoyable anyway.
