History
Set up by a missionary to Neri Island, Brother Emilio Leglioni, the monks at the monastery were codebreakers during the Second World War. By using a codified 'telegram' system, they helped to bring the war to an end. Their exploits spawned a popular game, The Telegram Game. The monks have donated a trophy to the Telegram Game Championships - The Neri Aracro Trophy. Made of pure Nerian gold, the monks and nuns spent a total of fourteen months to create the trophy. In fact, the bones of monastery founder, Brother Emilio Leglioni, were ground down and mixed into the molten gold when it was cast.
The official motto of Monasterio Aracronis is: "All you can ever be is yourself," although for the last five years they have also adopted two sub-mottos to encompass their growing ambitions: "When you are in a hurry, dress slowly" and "Keep a green bough in your heart and the birds will come singing."
To join the monastery, leave your name and I'll add you to the list of incumbents (see left).
