Phone Line Feb 25, 2004
The weather here brought down my phone line in the wee small hours of last Friday and by great surprise Telecom had it re attached by 1:30pm that same day. That was only a temporary fix though as there is a rather large tree in the way.
No problem, just cut off a few branches? not so simple. It's a neibour tree that is on communal land with at least 5 owners.
I sort of have telephone use and now internet dial-up. I didn't realise how much I used it 'till it was gone. Kind of the opposite of mt PC's floppy drive.
Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

You can all stop looking now Nov 6, 2003
Cleo is home. She found us. A neibour found her meowing at our door and called the number on the posters we had stuck up. It turns out she was stuck in the basement of our landlord.
After five days with anything to eat or drink she is really skinny. Right now she is on a chair next to me asleep.

Must share Nov 4, 2003
It's 4 days later and my is still missing I feel like I'm about to vote conservative as last night as I was getting ready for bed, I could swear I heard purring. Or as a ugoslav I work with would say "click and the sound of a cat"
I belive this email I've been sent spells the difference between cats and dogs.

Movies Oct 20, 2003
My wife and I rent quite a few DVDs and always from the same chain, the only one in which we have kept out membership.
I'm quite happy with the fact that they've been stocking more Brit films and hopfully our patronage of these films will help decision makers keep buying them.
This weekend we watched a horror/thriller (my favorite genre) titled 9ine and a comedy (my wife's favourite genre) Anita and me.
It's like a discovery. I never new the UK made so many movies or that they were this good.
I loved Dog soldiers, finaly a good werewolf movie.
