today is the first day of the rest of my life

i handed my dissertation in yesterday. after 2 yrs 8 months (not that i've been counting...) my flippin m.a. is finally finished! amazing. now i can get on with decorating my flat, renting it out, moving in with the fiance and arranging the wedding.
but i think i can allow myself a weekend off first...

back to uni. from now til next dec, my life will consist of work, study, work, study, work, study and etcetera and so on 
but at least my parents got moved ok, and i had a couple of jaunts over to holland during the summer 
still waiting to hear from a friend who was in new york ...

finally managed to rub a couple of braincells together for long enuf to write something on my home page. *be's impressed w self*
shame it's so dull, but hey, it's a start.
! good news of the month !
passed 2nd semester, phew. now to help my parents move back up to newcastle, yippee!  (after 7 yrs, 7 months and 7 days (yes, really) in the hinterlands of leeds  )
