- Douglas Adams

REDIntro

I am Red Dog © - a displaced Scotti formerly living in Perth, Australia (everything you ever wanted to know about the place can be found here courtesy of the industrious EvilRoy), also formerly a resident of Oklahoma which no one has bothered to write about yet as it's too flat and has too many Churches. I'm currently a resident of Aberdeen which is cold and grey (mostly).

So welcome to mykennel - please don't forget to leave me a bone, a chew or give me a friendly pat on the head. I don't bite - unless you are a cat. If you're feeling energetic throw me a stick.

My old uspace is here but here's me in a nutshell wart's n' all ........

"Yes, hang on." replied our unknown hero, who then dialed his supervisor to say "Yes, it's reception 'ere. I've got this geezer, says he's ...."

JOURNAL
2006 Annual Entry
Mar 25, 2006

Once again it's time for the increasingly irrelevant RedDog annual journal entry where I once again reflect upon the previous years Journal entries and marvel that the 2002 effort still appears robustly healthy despite my best efforts to terminate the damn thing.

This year I am hopeful that the 2006 entry like 2005 and 2004 will attract ever fewer replies. A modest aspiration I know but a heartfelt one.

If you're one of the sicko's that insist on keeping 2002 alive then I have given up on you ...... you know who you are winkeye

2005 Annual Entry
Feb 26, 2005

All too soon the time has come round once more for the now notorious RedDog annual journal entry where I once again reflect upon the previous years Journal entries and marvel that the 2002 effort still appears robustly healthy despite my best efforts to terminate the damn thing.

This year I am hopeful that the 2005 entry unlike it's 2002 brother will attract NO REPLIES WHATSOEVER.

For the hard of understanding that means NONE, ZERO, ZIP or NO replies to this posting.

I fank you winkeye

2004 Annual Entry
Jan 1, 2004

Well the time has come for the now inevitable RedDog annual journal entry where I reflect upon the previous years experiences and my hopes and aspirations for the future.

Truth is last years experiences are the same as the years before - my 2002 entry is still plagued by my friends unwilling to let the past go.

My aspirations for the future are equally as simple in that I hope my friends find another Researchers journal to pester.

That aside I'm still the same ole Dog biggrin

2003 Annual Entry
Jun 6, 2003

Well it's a new year for me on h2g2 and it's high time I made my now famous annual Journal entry. After the poor start to the 2001 entry the 2002 offering got off to a great start but has since been spiraling completely out of control having been wrested from my control by a desperate bunch of researchers. It's currently at 1755 postings and is showing signs of going on forever sadface . I find this unnatural and a bad thing.

I have high hopes for this new journal entry which hopefully will be more popular than 2001 but have the good sense to stay in proportion unlike 2003. biggrin

Nothing at all
Jan 20, 2002

One journal entry in a whole year seemed a little pathetic so at a stroke I have doubled the number. I may have to lie down for a while now.
