It has been a dog-awful 6 months. Months I would not have survived without the assistance of brilliant and caring friends...thank you all!

Desparately Seeking English Friends

If anyone knows Paul Blake or Debbie with daughter Alice - all who knew Boy George (Lil Alice played the drums at 2) - I miss them and am trying to find them.

No One Will Ever Keep Me Down

I love a Brit band called Chumbawamba (and many, many, many others but that is yet ANOTHER story.) They speak to me of crossing lines for all the right reasons; just like Diana did once...and others like Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman or Meg Ryan or many others that I may not yet know about. Hugs all round you ladies like me!
I am of that type. I am a 55 year old sort and after 30 years in a business profession I am quitting the whole damned thing and turning back to social services right here in the awful US of A with that Moron in charge. Against our wills - please know that!
So I now have a Blog which is starting to get some attention called - you will like this! - The Pubhouse Dialogues. There I am Arrietty with her sassy Blog "The Velvet Hammer." rofl! Tell me that is not a correct name!

I am leaving insurance for being a computer helpful (administrative? omygoodness) person at an 116 year old charitable organization. I am in frikkin heaven! Even as a Radical Atheist - just like Douglas!!!! I start in about 2 weeks.

Outlaws and Spring Buds

Well, my president sure is an outlaw. He just up and told our Congress and the american people that he didn't have to listen or care or count bodies. He strictly had to get the job done.
Oh, puh-lease!
Impeachment is on so many people's lips that I used it as my April Fools joke to my spouse. I said, bright-eyed, hellion that I am, "Did you hear about Bush getting impeached this morning?"
...April Fools. Well it made my day. Naughty Zoot.
I am finally recovering from a danged brush with black mold, an evil substance that is actually quite pretty and flowerlike under a microscope. Google it and see.
So since I didn't die and it took 7 month to get *mostly better* (a month longer than 2 weeks of bed rest and full doctoring that a friend of a friend did), I have decided to enjoy what life I have left.
So no more burning trees or ozone, ok?
