Feeling like a right fool...
You heard right, I am feeling quite the foolish one as I have no idea whatsoever of what this 'inroduction' thing is supopsed to be. Nevertheless, I will attempt a vague introduction in some unknown tongue... Hopefully you all have your fish es in your ears and they will translate smiley

"I hope to enjoy my stay and provide you with some interesting and (hopefully) humourous entries to the best and most extensive sources of information in the known universe. Oh, and one more thing: down with the Encyclopaedia Galactica (oh, sorry, did the censors catch that EVIL term? I hope so!). Thankyou all for providing this great website and tribute to the great Guide. A final word to Douglas Adams and legal eagles all over: we are not ripping the Guide off, we are paying homage to its excellence!"

Did your fish catch all of that? Good. Well, see ya later.

JOURNAL
Hello, journal
Jul 7, 2000

A bland and rather uninteresting topic heading. Still, it works. This being my first journal entry, I think it should be used to discuss something of great importance: the towel (huzzah, all hail the towel!). Do you remember as a kid running around in the yard wearing a towel as a cape? Ah, the days in which we did not know the importance of a towel. We thought they were only used for drying things and to pretend you were Batman or Superman or any other superhero with a cape... Garbage Can Polishing man, perhaps? Now they are so much more to us: I cannot, honestly, think of a way of life that does not include the towel as a vital prerequisitional possesion fundamentally NEEDED to carry out everyday tasks. It is just SO HANDY! I will not, of course, go into many ways of use the towel has - for that you can look up Towels in the Guide - but one use that just came to me this morning is to wear it around your neck like a scarf... sort of. Except unlike a scarf, towel material is less flexible, and is rather stiff at times, which is GOOD because you can wear it like a collar that sticks up to about your mouth (ever seen Vincent Valentine on Final Fantasy 7? You'll know exactly what I mean). It looks very cool (well, I think so) and is comfortable and warm. Anyways, until nest time...
