Hello all. My real name is Chris and I've joined Sam on the h2g2 editorial team as a co-editor, proofer and general right-hand person for the foreseeable future.

I'm a long-time lurker, first-time poster here so please bear with me as I'm sure to make some cataclysmic errors as I jump feet first into the h2g2 - or is it HooToo? - community fray. But if everything I've heard about you is true - that you're the brightest, friendliest and generally downright loveliest bunch to be found online - I'm hoping that you'll be forgiving. But I'm looking forward to getting to know you all over time. Plus I hear that you're all terrific dancers.

Some things about myself: I can't click my fingers, cross my eyes or wink. I am, however, a mean parallel parker. It's funny how life compensates.

Any advice for a newbie like me? And has anyone else created a user name and then immediately regretted it/thought of a better one? I'm only thinking that if I stay as Zelmo my sign-off initials will look like I've fallen asleep as soon as I've finished writing my posts.
