And who is he?
Tarrío is a 21-year-old Computer Engineering student in Corunna (Galicia - Spain), but born and living in Santiago de Compostela, a well-known Galician town located about 60kms at the South of Corunna.
His main interests in computing are Linux, Free Software 1, and programming (but only a little bit, and in stimulating stuff; he would never work as a programmer for a bank).
He has been a user of the Worldwide Amateur Mail Network "Fidonet" since December, 19962.
What can be expected from him?
He has a home page lost somewhere in the marshes of the Internet. It's no great stuff, but there are some writings about Fidonet, BBSing, a couple of pieces of crapware Tarrío has written, etc. No banner ads
No ads, in fact.
He is also the crazy one who draws a new banner for the GPUL3 every week. Well, save these last two ones, because he's having his exams. You can see the previous banners if you wish. They're mild, half-humorous GPUL and Linux advertisement, so you can see them safely
. Ah, forgot to say they're in Spanish.
And what's more, he has managed to write all this about himself in third person. Sure he is a tough man!
More to come soon...
