That´s a person of course, or rather a nickname for one. The name was made out of "finch", which is the translation of my surname, Fink, and "gen" which is for General. I am the General of my own private army, you know. It was founded back in ´93 or ´94 or so after watching "A Few Good Men" a great big number of times too often. It currently has four members. And has always had. We must be doing something wrong.
I was born and raised in the most wonderful part of Germany, the Rhineland. But due to some terrible mistake of mine (choosing to study in Göttingen) I have been transplanted out of my native country into the (relative) North of Germany. What shocked me most at the beginning is that they don´t have a dialect here. Or rather their dialect has been awarded the title of "High German" some 150 years ago, I think. And so they all speak High German and that´s as good as having no dialect. No dialect makes people from Rhineland go crazy.
I study English and Chemistry, vaguely aiming at becoming a teacher. I´ll be revenged for those thirteen horrible years!
That´s about it from me, you see, I´m mean, vengeful, schadenfroh and, if you must know, my nails are as dark as my soul.
