FAQ
Here's my FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions). They haven't really been asked, but I took generic ones and answered them:
Who?
The Masque of the Red Rejection eMail
What?
Originally, merely a costume for a Masquerade Ball. Red took on a life of his own, however, and is now a noted Villain with membership status in STUMPED.
When?
Mostly weekday mornings.
Where?
In Damogran, the H2G2 Space Center, Lil's Studio, and occasionally the Aroma Cafe
Why?
A new H2G2 account was necissary to create a costume that no one would be able to trace directly back to it's wearer. I chose the name for a number of reasons:
- It's an E A Poe allusion, and therefore scary.
- The allusion is from "The Masque of the Red Death" set at a Masquerade Ball, and a Masquerade Ball inspired my persona
- A Rejection eMail from the Editors of H2G2 is probably the worst thing that can happen to you on H2G2. Being "Deaded" is never as bad.
- My alter ego has never actually had an article rejected, nor is he a sub-editor, so the name is extremely misleading to anyone trying to analyse it.
- A small clue is given in the fact that my original persona uses a literary allusion for a name, and so do I
How?
By using my ACEs mail instead of a real eMail adress, I was able to creat an entirely new H2G2 account.
Who Else?
Oh? You want an unmasking? Alright, I'm Irving Washington. Really, who else but an Arizonan would compare himself to a mask from a Dias de los Muertos celebration or make a big deal about the pronunciation of Guacamole1
