JOURNAL
Teaching
May 23, 2000

Well, my local Park District finally called and they want me to be an Irish Dance teacher there. I'm very excited yet I have little experience. I think it should be very fun. I'll be teaching 7 - 10 year olds, hopefully they'll like me. If anyone has any advise feel free to post it. The Park District expects me to have them recital ready in 25 weeks which should be no problem except the parents are used to ballet and tap recitals. ....this should be interesting since the driving force behind dance classes are the parents and not the dancers themselves. On the up-side they have givin me 45US$ per costume per child, designing the costumes should be great, again if you have any suggestions speak (or type) up!!
Well that's all for now!

Irish Dance club
Dec 15, 1999

I am the founder of my school's Irish dance club. The unusual part is most of the "students" are faculty and not school students. They are finally picking up the Jig and are starting on thier reel. I hope to have them prepared for this Spring's talent show. I think they'll be ready!! smiley
