Great article! I have one question though, what exactly was the nature of the disagreements between the bolsheviks and the mensheviks?

Also, more people were killed in the shooting of the film of the 1917 Revolution than were actually killed in the revolution itself as an over-zealous cast used live ammunition for the state-sponsored re-enactment a few years after the real thing.

...and yeah, great article.

I must say I thought Andropov's tenure in charge was shorter than said in this article. Maybe I'm confusing it with that of Pope John Paul I which was around the same time and of similar temporary nature...

What is Gorbachev doing these days?

Actively he wasn't in charge long but like Stalin he survived in a near vegetated state for a long time.
