Superpessimism
Post: 1
Posted Sep 2, 2008 by Charcoal_Abraxas
"A few years ago, the University of Gralsund taught the so called Aspirationless Superpessimism, which was developed by the Masterpessimist Humri Schiggsall.
Schiggsall loved to demonstrate the forlornness of Being on the basis of brimful water glass: „Even though the glas is full at the moment, it will be empty, when I drunk it up. This consternates me. If I don’t drink it the liquid will evaporate. This consternates me even more.“, he was often whining in his seminars and than he teared his hair sighing . But one Day a Student mentioned: „But the glass is full now. Why not simply enjoying the moment?“
„Because I’m thirsty!“ Schiggsall exclaimed. Than he drunk up the Glass and threw it at the head of his Student, who must be needled with seven stitches. Think about that."

[Free translation from the Book "Ensel und Krete" by Walter Moers...just got the German Version...]
