Posted Sep 14, 2002 by Archee Waters I did work with a Swiss woman once who professed to have worn gloves the whole time she was in England because she said every surface was dirty. She never elaborated about her habit in the public washrooms or her use of hand dryers but I'd rather not know - just glad she wore gloves though!

Posted Sep 15, 2002 by J. Nigel Aalst I work with a guy who keeps a supply of napkins in his pocket so he doesn't have to touch the door handle. And I used to work with another one who would always grab a piece of paper towel to open the door (at a different workplace).

Posted Sep 17, 2002 by Archee Waters In your journal entry, you mentioned buying gloves for work - is that why this subject caught your eye? I believe in washing ones hands after getting home at any rate!

Posted Oct 2, 2002 by J. Nigel Aalst No, I just happened across it. The sad thing is, I never actually bought those gloves because I couldn't find anything I liked. I still have the same horrible old worn-out ones I had then. Maybe this winter...
