Clever Design

Most hot-air hand dryers share at least one of these two design features:

1) The timer runs out and the airflow gets shut off long before you actually have dried your hands

2) The hand-sensor is pointing at the wrong place, so if you actually have your hands in the airflow at the correct position, the machine shuts off because it thinks you've left.

yes, i noticed that too. or sometimes (the one at work) to get the sensor to see you you have to avctually touch the wall behind the dryer. yucky!
