Sucess story...
Posted Sep 11, 2002 by Super Shiny Sarah
My boyfriend and I started chatting on Yahoo! messenger over two years ago... we've been together properly now for almost a year and have no intention of ever breaking up... and if that's not a success story I don't know what is. We talked online for almost a year before we met up, followed all the advice (we met in Pizza Hut, the waitress was amazed!) and it went from there. I personally think we've been incredibly lucky. And to anyobdy in a similar situation I'd say go for it, forget the nerves and go for it because it could be the best thing you ever do smiley smiley smiley

Another success story here too! I met my boyfriend on a chat site and we met up, I'll admit not according to the guidelines on here, but I was lucky in that he wasn't a freak. I didn't expect much to come of it since I was back at uni in a few days, but after that we did the talking thing for a few weeks and went from 'how are you?' to 'I miss you' to meeting up while I was at uni, to being properly together now, him having met most of my family apart from the brother who's still at school, and me having met his parents, and we're in love and often talk, semi jokily, about getting pets together and where we're going to live later on. Sometimes it works out, even if the people involved don't expect it to! loveblush biggrin smiley
