My family originate from Scotland, and I have a Scottish surname, just wondering does anyone know how to track down a family tartan, as would like to know what my family tartan is  thanks

Very easily done. Without listing a specific URL (which might be removed later by the italics) I suggest doing a search for "clan tartan". This will bring up many listings for geneology related sites that will have full listings of different clans, their septs and their relevant tartans. Including your surname in the search should bring you directly to the pages your looking for.

No i havent, i havent got internet access, but im going to get a mate to have a look for me but i go on holiday today, so will do that when i get back Im fine thanks, and see you around in about a week
