That would be a big no. I could write something on 80's electronica, but I was still a bit on the youngish side in the late 70s.

erm So was I! I just did a lot of research and interviewed a couple of people who were into punk at the time......but I'm sure someone who feels better qualified will take up the challenge...smiley

I originally did the piece for college - before that I knew comparatively little about punk, but once I started looking into it, I found it quite fascinating. I didn't write about the American scene because being British I couldn't get any first hand accounts of it and everything I read about it was so contradictory.
