Really interesting, and quite easy to follow...
Isn't hebrew using the same mecanics (putting the meaning of words in the consonants, and their grammatical classification in vowels) ?
I had a discussion with a (very) litterate friend a few years ago, whose personal feeling was that sanskrit also had the same approach to link sounds (consonants) and meaning...
Do you know if, like in the hebraic tradition, Arabic links a meaning (often a virtue, or an object, in the case of Hebrew) to each consonant ? Like (from not so recent readings, pardon me if I got it mixed up) /B/ for 'the House', /L/ for 'Law/Rules', etc. ?

I cant answer the second question-but Arabic does use the vocalic values to represent grammatical meaning..
